Episode #104 "Angry Dick"

The Solomons decide to make contact with their neighbors the Mullers, whom they've been observing from afar. Dick makes overtures of friendship to Frank Muller, who is curious but responsive. Sally bonds with Mrs. Muller, and Harry and Tommy fall in love with the Mullers' sixty-channel cable TV, but when the Solomons innocently pay a social call at 3:00 a.m. and reveal to the Mullers that they've been spying on them, the new friendship is put to the test, and Muller throws them out of his house. Dick feels that they've been treated unjustly, decides that friendship is a waste of time and experiences anger for the first time. Sally and Mrs. Muller, however, continue their friendship. And when Muller has the Solomons' Rambler towed away, Dick tries valiantly to control his temper but finally punches Muller in the nose, which gives him a wonderful sense of release and eventually wins him Muller's grudging respect.
