Episode #115 "Dick Like Me"

When Dick and Sally meet with Tommy's teacher, they learn that Tommy is having trouble fitting in. Sally is less concerned with Tommy's problem than with getting to know his handsome teacher, Mr. Randell. The aliens are mystified when Tommy announces that they have to have an ethnic identity, because to them all earthlings look alike, but Dick resolves to do some research on the issue. Dick is baffled when Nina says she's been discriminated against because she's African-American, as has Dr. Albright because she's a woman. Sally enlists Harry to teach her to dance for her date with Mr. Randell. Dick considers being Italian because Dr. Albright thinks Italians are sexy, and Tommy experiments with being a black "bluesman". But Mrs. Dubcek solves the problem with her assumption that since their name is Solomon, the aliens must be Jewish, though in fact they found the name on the side of a truck.
