Episode #210 "Gobble, Gobble, Dick, Dick"

  It's the day before Thanksgiving, and Sally, encountering a store full of crazed grocery shoppers, rushes home to tell the other aliens that the apocalypse has arrived. On Thanksgiving morning Dick rushes to the university to find out what's going on and finds it deserted. A janitor informs him it's a holiday. Back home, Dick chides Tommy that, as information officer, he didn't brief them on how to celebrate this day, but now Dick wants them to experience the ideal, authentic Thanksgiving. Sally's not surprised that she's the one expected to cook. Mrs. Dubcek arrives with her daughter Vicki and they're persuaded to stay for dinner. Dr. Albright comes by to join the party. The aliens pretend they've celebrated Thanksgiving for years, but when Dick urges Tommy to put on a pilgrim costume, he stalks out and heads to the neighborhood pool hall where he outplays a couple of pool sharks and sees that everyone isn't home with their family on Thanksgiving. Harry and Vicki find that they're madly attracted to each other, and when Mrs. Dubcek brings out the Jell-O dessert, the aliens cower in fear. The merrymakers are ending their day with a game of Yahtzee, when Tommy returns home and informs Dick that tension, fights and recriminations are what Thanksgiving is all about, so they definitely did it right.
