Episode #211 "Dick Jokes"

The aliens visit a comedy club for the first time, and Dick can't figure out what's so funny. Dick is jealous when Mary laughs at the jokes of one of their colleagues, and he orders Tommy, as information officer, to find out what this sense of humor business is all about. Tommy says a sense of humor is innate, and Sally says you either get it or you don't, but Dick is determined to find out what's funny. Dick volunteers to emcee the college fund raiser, but first goes to the comedy club to practice his routine and clears the room immediately. At the fund raiser, Dick humiliates both Dr. Albright and Nina, but they get their revenge at the office the next day when they bombard him with pies. This, they agree, is truly funny.
