Tommy persuades Dick to direct his high school production of Romeo and Juliet in hopes of being cast as Romeo opposite August's Juliet. Tommy winds up doing props, while Dick tortures the young actors with his tasteless and melodramatic vision of the play. Ultimately, the football coach has to take over running the production. When Officer Don agrees to "fix" some of Sally's parking tickets, Dick tries to persuade him to take care of Dr. Albright's as well, but when Don realizes she has $1,500 in fines, he says her only alternative is to try to sway the judge with her feminine wiles. Later, Don admits to Sally that he's been "fixing" her tickets by paying them himself. And when Mrs. Dubcek drinks the potion Tommy has concocted as a prop for the play and passes out cold, Harry gives the performance of his life when he dresses in her clothes and impersonates her so her visiting friends won't find out what's happened.
