When Sally meets Michel, a handsome Frenchman who tells her he needs to get married, she jumps at the chance and assures Dick that marriage will help her fulfill her assignment here on earth; Michel has even offered her five thousand dollars to marry him. Sally's engagement prompts a dialogue about marriage between Dick and Dr. Albright in which they both seem extremely reluctant to commit to anything. Tommy and Harry help Sally with arrangements for the wedding, and Tommy's unexpected aptitude for floral arrangement and fashion design makes August a bit nervous. Michel, who assumes that everyone understands this is a green card wedding, is puzzled but pleased by the aliens' excitment about the upcoming ceremony. Dick, at the urging of his students, decides to propose to Mary, but he's put off by the price of engagement rings. The wedding day arrives, and Sally tells Michel she can't marry him because she's an alien; to Sally's relief, Michel says he's an alien too, but he says there's no point in their getting married and demands his money back, but before he can make a scene an Immigration agent takes him away.
