Episode #325 "The Tooth Harry"

Mary's doing a promotional video for the university directed by Aubrey Pitman, one of Dick's students, and Dick's upset that he wasn't asked to participate. When the guy she's been dating doesn't show up as promised, Nina accepts Harry's offer to drive her to the dentist to have her wisdom teeth extracted. Don gives Sally a key to his apartment so she can watch his cable TV and tells her she might as well just keep it. The dentist removes two of Nina's wisdom teeth and tells her he'll do the other two on Friday; Harry takes her home, stays while she sleeps and gives her soup when she wakes up. Dick starts shamelessly sucking up to Pitman in hopes of getting to work on the video. Sally makes herself very much at home in Don's apartment, and he begins to get a little nervous. Nina admits to Mary that she's feeling somewhat romantically inclined toward Harry; Mary's shocked, but Nina points out that Dr. Solomon is as bizarre as Harry and completely self-centered as well. Dick's finally chosen to be part of the video, but upon reading the script he realizes that the things he's being asked to say are outright lies. Harry declares his feelings for Nina as she's about to go back to the dentist's chair; he tells her dramatically that he'll always be there for her. Sally's taken over Don's apartment so totally that he's begun hanging out at the Solomons'. Tommy approaches Pitman on Dick's behalf and requests some changes in Dick's lines. Pitman, in order to get the project done, agrees to let Dick make some changes as long as he makes Pendleton sound good. At the dentist's office, while waiting for Nina, Harry hears about the Tooth Fairy for the first time. Pitman can't use anything Dick's written, but he tells Dick it's all fine just to get rid of him and has Judith say Dick's original lines. When Sally, who demands to be part of guys' night at Don's, ruins everything, Don asks for his key back; he assures her that she's still his lady, but he just can't deal with the way she's turned "Donville" into "Sallyburg." And Harry's and Nina's budding romance comes to a jarring halt when Nina learns that Harry's left money under her pillow and completely misinterprets his gesture.
