Episode #401 "Power Mad Dick"

Mary's been named dean of the School of Arts and Sciences; she moves into a much nicer office and takes Nina with her. Dick tells Nina he didn't like her work anyway. Sally informs everyone, including the cable guy, that tonight's the night she's losing her viginity to Don. Mary tries to cheer Dick up by authorizing some new office furniture; Dick jumps to the conclusion that since his girlfriend's the dean, he's dean. Dick struts around campus on a power trip that ends with his firing of his nemesis, Lucy the cafeteria cashier. Sally goes to the police station to show Don the massage oil and other purchases she's made for the big night. Later, Don and Sally dance a smoldering tango around his apartment, and he carries her piggy-back into the bedroom. The next morning Don and Sally are giggly and shy. Arriving home, Sally's horrified when the other aliens jump out of the closet wearing party hats and screaming "Congratulations!" Dick, Harry and Tommy are disappointed and frustrated when Sally tells them that the details of her night with Don are none of their business. Mary angrily informs Dick that he's created some big problems for her, the largest of which is that Lucy has filed a grievance. She points out that Dick has no authority; she's the dean, and he's the boyfriend. Dick now has to convince Lucy to take her job back, but their conversation turns into an argument, and Dick fires her for a second time as she leaves to call her attorney. Harry and Tommy confront Don and demand to know why Sally's not talking; he says it's none of their business, and they warn him they're keeping an eye on him. Don rushes over to make sure Sally's all right, and she explains that even though she's very happy, she doesn't want to talk to anyone about losing her virginity; Don confesses he didn't know she was a virgin, but he's honored. Mary asks Lucy what it will take to make her drop her lawsuit. Nina moves back into Dick's office with the news that she's working for him again. Dick rushes to Mary's office and discovers that Lucy is Mary's new assistant.
