Harry’s
kidnapper has sold him to a carnival freak show where he is billed
as Hargo the Alien, and his transmissions from The Big Giant Head
are a huge hit. Harry tells Garvin, his boss, that he would like
to go home. His family is probably searching for him and putting
up posters. Garvin says if his family cared, they would be here
by now and, besides, he’s bound by a contract. In Harry’s last transmission,
The Big Giant Head threatened to disconnect the High Commander’s
brain function, and Dick’s behavior clearly indicates that this
has happened. In hopes of locating Harry, Vicki Dubcek and the Aliens
visit a psychic who tells them that she has seen Harry performing
at a carnival. When they question her, she assures them that it
was not in a vision, but with her own eyes. Dick complains to Mary
and Nina that he’s losing his memory, and he is obviously telling
the truth. Vicki and the Aliens head for the Lapine County Fair
to look for Harry. While waiting for them to return, Mary and Don
discuss their bizarre relationships with Dick and Sally. Vicki and
the others find Harry at the fair. He has become a big star and
is not thrilled with the idea of going home. He calls the shots
now, he tells them, and he isn’t anxious to go back to being bossed
around. And he’s angry that they didn’t come looking for him sooner.
Dick is in trouble, they tell him, and he has to send in a status
report so the BGH will re-connect Dick’s brain. Harry is their only
hope. Harry relents and sends the status report as part of his act.
Dick returns to his old self, but Harry’s new act is a flop. Mary
and Don agree to put a stop to the insanity in their respective
relationships, but the minute Don sees Sally his resolve disappears.
