When Sally learns that Playpen Magazine is coming to campus and will pay women six hundred dollars to pose naked, she's ready to sign up in spite of the fact that many women at Pendleton are planning to picket. Sally tells Dick her plan, and he supports her even though Mary observes that it's so demeaning. Nina reminds her that she herself posed naked twenty years ago, and Dick informs her that posing naked may be fine for Sally but not for his girlfriend. It's very upsetting to imagine that there are naked pictures of Mary floating around. Tommy is completely smitten with Alissa, his partner in biology lab. Dick and Mrs. Dubcek discuss nudity and the difference between art and smut. Harry gives Sally some pointers on sexy posing. Dick becomes obsessed with the idea of Mary's pictures and decides that all nudity is disgusting; he thinks he's seeing things when he returns to the apartment and finds Harry stark naked. Harry informs him that he wants to find out if the whole clothes thing is a big scam. Sally tells Don about her plan to pose naked, and he forbids her to do it, but she's determined. Don advises Dick to go out and find Mary's twenty-year-old naked pictures. Harry finds out that trying to cook while naked can be a little painful. Dick tracks down the photographer and retrieves Mary's pictures; she's touched that the thought of her posing naked made him so jealous. Playpen passes on Sally because she's too old. And Harry decides that clothing can be very useful at times.
