Tommy and Don are baffled when Alissa and Sally bond and insist on going clothes
shopping together. Tommy's upset when he realizes that Sally has seen Alissa
naked in the dressing room. Sally says Tommy should just tell Alissa that he wants
to see her naked, but Tommy's already tried that. Strudwick and Judith announce
that they've teamed up for the Badger Day dance contest. Although she protests
that she has two left feet, Mary agrees to be Dick's partner, while Nina reluctantly
pairs up with Harry. Dick and Mary try to rehearse but things go very poorly;
Dick, always competitive with Strudwick, is determined to be a winner, and he tells
Mary bluntly that she'll have to clean up her act. Nina and Harry mesh perfectly
as partners, and their dancing is fantastic. Harry makes it clear that he's attracted
to Nina, and she finds this a little scary. Dick sees Harry and Nina rehearsing and
decides that in order to win, he'll need Nina for a partner. He informs Harry that
he'll be escorting Nina to the contest and Harry will be staying home. Alissa
unnerves both Sally and Tommy when she accidentally walks in on Don in the
bathroom. Sally tells Tommy she's sure Alissa did it deliberately, because she
wanted to get a look at Don. At the dance contest, Dick and Nina are dancing
impressively when Harry comes in and sweeps Mary onto the dance floor. With
Harry as a partner, Mary is the picture of style and grace, but Dick and Nina are
declared the winners. Dick's basking in the limelight as Mary, who's furious with
him, storms out. Later, Dick pursues an angry Mary into the park where they
join together in a romantic dance.
