Episode #519 "Dick and Harry Fall In A Hole"

On their way to pick up a pizza, Dick and Harry run out of gas. As they cross a field going after gas, Dick falls into a giant hole. Moments later Harry falls in too. Dick berates Harry for being an idiot; he was supposed to rescue Dick. Now they're stuck because clearly the hole is too big to climb or dig their way out of it. Dick begins to panic immediately, while Harry couldn't be more composed. Harry finds a bag of M&Ms in his pocket, and Dick demands that he share them. Dick asks Harry what goes on in his head that enables him to remain so calm. Harry reveals that there's absolutely nothing going on in his head. Soon both the Rutherford police and the press arrive. Officer Don has no comment for the press. When Tommy, Sally and Mary find out, Tommy immediately sees the opportunity to exploit the plight of his fellow aliens and make a fast buck selling Polaroid snapshots and other souvenirs to tourists. Mary's biggest concern is looking good on camera when she's interviewed. The police realize that the situation is too serious for them to handle; they call in a world-class hole expert, Angus, The Hole, McDuff. He immediately wants to set to work building a clay model of the hole using dolls to represent Dick and Harry. Sally says it would be better to flood the hole with water, so Dick and Harry could pop up to the surface. Angus assures her that his method is best; the smallest detail could mean the difference between life and death. Sally observes that she could dig them out faster with a plastic spoon. Insulted, Angus retreats to his trailer, and Sally is forced to beg his forgiveness. Back at the hole, Dick and Harry are in a Zen-like state. When Angus and Sally come to their rescue, Dick and Harry say they're not going anywhere. They want to stay in the hole. Angus says it's a variation of the Stockholm Syndrome; they've fallen in love with their captor, the hole. But Sally's having no part of this. She grabs them both by the scruffs of their necks and throws them into the rescue shaft. Angus tells Sally she's a natural; they could travel the world together rescuing people from holes. In fact, she could be nicknamed "The Hole" as well. Sally says she'll pass.
