Episode #614 "Glengarry Glen Dick"

Dick hears a pitch for a ten thousand dollar timeshare, and he immediately focuses on owning his own little piece of the Earth. He tells Sally and Harry that they simply need to raise five thousand dollars. Sally suggests that they go in with someone on the timeshare, and that someone is Don. Don goes for it, and he, Sally, Dick and Mary take off for vacation. Their vacation paradise turns out to be about the size of a closet. Tommy is now taller than Harry and is giving him grief about it. Mrs. Dubcek tells them that as you age you get shorter. Dick, Mary, Don and Sally are at a seedy restaurant near the timeshare, and Mary isn't too happy. Dick tells her she isn't giving the town a chance. Mary just know how they're going to kill three days there. It seems that the only possible tourist attraction is a prison. Back at the timeshare, they discover that the room is infested by bugs. Mary tells Dick to stop making excuses; this is a dump! Dick confesses that he's made a terrible mistake, but what can he do. Mary suggests that Dick try to sell his half to Don at the same time that Sally's suggesting that Don unload his half on Dick. Convinced that he's shrinking, Harry pays a visit to the "Rutherford Enlargement Clinic. For the man who wants more." Dick and Don negotiate with each managing to sell his half to the other. Dick decides that their only chance is the classic bait and switch scam. But they have no luck at all as they try to convince their timeshare neighbors to buy a second one. They're ready to cut their losses and forget the whole thing when it occurs to them that they actually will have some pretty happy memories of their stay. They're ready to settle in just as their time is up and the new tenants arrive.
