Episode #122 "That Darn Cat"

Erica has moved back home while her new apartment is being prepared. Unfortunately, she's brought along her cat that Hilton is allergic to, promising she'll keep it in her room. Erica's friend Stephanie does a home pregnancy test while she's visiting and is delighted to learn that she's pregnant. She leaves the "positive" test kit in Erica's waste basket. Griffin finds the test in Erica's room and thinks she's the one who's expecting. He almost tells Hilton, but decides to respect Erica's privacy. Later, Ruth finds the test kit when she's about to empty Erica's trash. She shows Pauline but decides not to mention it to Erica. Hilton also finds the test kit when the cat gets into the garbage, but he thinks Ruth is pregnant and he decides he's okay with that. Hilton and Ruth have a discussion about the pregnancy in which neither knows what the other is talking about. Griffin is the suspected father of both imaginary children until Erica sets everyone straight.
