Episode #123 "My Dinner With Methuselah"

Pauline's boyfriend leaves her for a twenty-six year old aerobics instructor. She's so depressed that Ruth decides to set her up on a blind date with Richard, her Spanish instructor. Richard agrees to pick up Pauline at the Lucases for their date, but Pauline doesn't get Ruth's message that Richard is running late and will meet her at the restaurant. Pauline arrives at the Lucas house on time and instead of Richard, she encounters old Mr. Tibbles who runs the neighborhood video store and has come to see Hilton. Pauline thinks Mr. Tibbles is her blind date and is rather upset, but gamely goes to the restaurant with a delighted Mr. Tibbles. Hilton and Ruth go to the restaurant to see how the date is going, and are astonished to see Pauline with Mr. Tibbles. Griffin and his date arrive to have dinner along with Richard and Mr. Tibbles' indignant girlfriend Eunice, and the misunderstanding is resolved.
