Episode #202 "Wake Up and Smell the Coffeehouse"

Since the neighborhood grocery store has started carrying flowers, Ruth and Pauline's flower shop is losing most of its business. Meanwhile, Erica dreams of starting a business of her own - a restaurant. Hilton drops by with some samples of cookies Erica has baked, bringing a pot of coffee to go with them. He sets them on a table in front of the shop, and a passerby stops and takes a bite. When Hilton returns, he's amazed that the man is willing to pay six dollars for two cookies. Ruth and Pauline send Hilton and Griffin out to buy a larger coffee maker, hoping to make a little extra money selling coffee. When they return, the girls find out they've signed a lease on a $4,800 espresso machine. Hilton vows the machine will quickly pay for itself, even though Ruth and Pauline tell Hilton the store is going broke. Ruth confesses to Hilton that she's scared they're going under. But Hilton has an idea. He asks Erica to bake lots of cookies for the flower shop and, with Griffin's help, learns to make cappuccino. Suddenly, people are buying coffee and cookies - not to mention flowers to go with them. A grateful Ruth and Pauline christen their new venture, "The Flower Café."
