Episode #211 "Shall We Dance?"

Lead-footed Hilton is surprised by Ruth's birthday gift of tap dance lessons. Not wanting to hurt Ruth's feelings, he attends one class, hates it, and spends the other class nights at the movies. Meanwhile, the Flower Café is sponsoring poetry nights, where Griffin can't believe that the poetry he's hearing could be taken seriously. But when he adopts the persona of an angry, alienated young artist, he's amazed at how this helps his image with women. Later, Erica busts Hilton when she finds movie ticket stubs in his pocket. She warns him that Ruth is looking forward to seeing him perform in the upcoming dance recital. Hilton begs his dance instructor to take him back into the class and give him something to do in the recital. With Ruth, Pauline and Griffin in the audience, Hilton performs his basic tap step while everyone goes wild and even begins taking part in the high-energy performance of the other dancers.
