Episode #222 "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Astoria"

Erica and her friends, Stephanie and Leslie, return very early from an evening of clubbing and announce that it was clear to them they weren’t going to meet any men. Hilton and Ruth advise them to consider nice guys they see every day but never thought about dating. To give them a push, Ruth says she wants each girl to invite one of these guys to dinner tomorrow night. After a lot of effort and angst, Stephanie decides to bring Griffin. Erica ends up bringing Preston, a tow truck driver she met while he was towing Griffin’s car. Leslie brings the doorman from her building. Things are awkward at dinner, with the couples having very little in common. They all go out to a club later, but the girls, dejected, return to the Lucases almost immediately. The guys were obnoxious, a fight started at the club and they were thrown out. Erica and her friends vow that from now on they’ll manage their own love lives. But there’s a knock on the door -- the guys are back to give it another try.
