Episode #312 "The Awful Truth"

  Jurnee’s father, Del, has a new love interest named Karen, whom he met when she showed him an apartment for rent. Now the problem is he has no intention of moving in to the apartment, he just keeps checking it out in order to see Karen. Karen, meanwhile, has her own little secret – she confides in the Lucas family that the boy she has been passing off as her little brother is actually her son. Hilton and Ruth agree that she should tell Del about her son when they all have dinner that night. At dinner, Hilton tries to pave the way by talking about the importance of honesty and forgiveness in love. Del thinks Hilton’s speech is about his phony apartment search and confesses to Karen, who ends up telling him about her son as well. After the initial shock of the deceptions, the couple ends up reconciling.
