Griffin is attracted to Stacy Malone, a teacher at his school, but she asks him to introduce her to Del, Jurnee's dad. He does so reluctantly, and Del, who just lost his girlfriend, can't believe his good fortune. He makes plans with Stacy to go to a basketball game, and couldn't be happier until Jurnee tells him that if he cares about her at all, he'll promise not to go out with Stacy. Stacy's the meanest teacher at her school and she hates children, and Jurnee will be humiliated if her father takes her out. This prompts Hilton, Ruth, Pauline and Erica to reminisce about horrible teachers in their past. Del takes Stacy out for a walk, and tells her about his daughter's objections. Stacy acknowledges that she isn't popular among the students at her school, but says that she's strict and demands excellence from her students only because she cares about them. This convinces Del that Stacy's okay, and when Griffin provides her with a little insight, Jurnee's convinced as well.
