Episode #419 "Long Night’s Journey Into Day"

Hilton’s insomnia has been going on for weeks, and Ruth is concerned. She’d like him to go to a doctor. Hilton reports that the doctor is a quack. He says Hilton needs sleep. The doctor also suggested a sleep clinic, but Hilton is having no part of it. Sonia Sanchez is coming for Eric’s class poetry reading, and Erica made brownies for he occasion. Hilton, Ruth, Griffin and Darien all attend, and Hilton mortifies Erica when he falls asleep leaning against a wall. Ruth will check Hilton into a sleep clinic the next day and will accept no arguments. Hilton refuses to spend thousands of dollars for something he considers unnecessary. When Griffin says that clinics video you while you sleep, Hilton assigns Griffin the task. The video reveals that Ruth snores loudly and continuously kicks Hilton in her sleep and that seems to be his only problem.
