Episode #109 "The Replacements"

  Maryann introduces Cybill to her new boyfriend, Bob, a bassoonist with the Philharmonic. Cybill is lost without her best friend and gets her feelings hurt when Maryann starts blowing her off to be with Bob all the time. She tries to spend time with her family but no one seems interested. Then she hooks up with an old friend, Patty, for lunch. Patty brings her two small children along, proceed to drive Cybill crazy. When Maryann shows up with Bob, Maryann gets jealous that Cybill is spending time with an old friend. Cybill and Maryann argue and Maryann leaves. Later, things start to get romantic with Maryann and Bob; Maryann panics and calls Cybill for advice, and in the process, apologizes, and they make up.
