Episode #203 "Since I Lost My Baby"

  Cybill is playing an angel in a Granny’s Snack Cake commercial when she crashes while on skates. The hard-nosed producer demands that they wrap for the day because angels should fly. The pregnant producer, Terry Belmont, recognizes Cybill as having been married to Jeff Robbins. Terry confides that she has been impregnated with Jeff ’s sperm without his knowledge. Later, Cybill and Maryann tell Jeff, who confronts Terry on the set the next day. He wants to be involved with Terry again. Jeff, prodded by Ira, asks Cybill to talk to Terry about a possible reconciliation. While Cybill is at Terry’s house, Jeff serenades her from below after luring her to the balcony. Ira is hiding in the brush, literally putting words in Jeff ’s mouth. As Jeff climbs the trellis, Ira serenades them with song. Rachel is overly-protective of William. She reluctantly lets Cybill and Maryann take him shopping with them. Maryann is assigned to watch him, but is distracted by her shopping high. They leave with the wrong stroller. At home, Zoey is changing William’s diaper and discovers -- it’s a girl! Frantic, Cybill and Maryann return to the store and frantically call every stroller-pushing couple who had visited the store earlier. It turns out Casey and Jean Kasem had strolled off with little William.
