Episode #205 "Cybill’s Fifteen Minutes"

  Cybill has a date with movie star Dennis Oliver, only to be lost in his shadow post-Oscars. He drops her off and asks to use her bathroom. She thinks he’s trying to pull a fast one and is surprised when he excuses himself without even asking her for a night cap. He’s arrested later that night for soliciting a prostitute and Cybill is tormented by the tabloids. Jeff is on TV telling Leeza Gibbons that he cheated on Cybill as well -- but never had to pay for it. Ira goes jogging as a Cybill decoy, so she can rendezvous with Oliver at the trattoria. He confesses it was a publicity stunt and wants Cybill to play into it, too. He stops her as she storms out, then leans in for a kiss, for the benefit of a photographer. She clocks Oliver. Zoey’s principal tells Cybill and Ira that Zoey’s been substitute teaching at a different school, and has earned over $3,000. Furthermore, she was given a raise because her classes test scores went up. The principal then suggests (re: tabloid controversy) a threesome with Cybill and Ira. They later confront Zoey and tell her the money has to go toward college and not a car.
