Episode #222 "Pal Zoey"

  Hoping to help her forget Sean, Cybill spends more time with Zoey. Rachel asks Cybill and Jeff to attend a session of couples counseling with her and Kevin. All goes well until introductions are made, when Jeff and the therapist realize they have slept together. Rachel stomps off, Kevin goes after her, and Cybill reveals some deep-seated anger toward Jeff ’s cheating ways. With her wounded daughters competing for her time, Cybill decides to take everyone to her Indian sweating ritual for the weekend. At the retreat, they cleanse their souls of their hatred and anger. Maryann lets go of her obsession with Ira. Cybill lets go of her anger at Jeff and her professional jealousy toward Jessica Lange. Zoey decides to let go of her cynical persona. Back home, Cybill finds Zoey emulating the cheerleaders at school, watching the TV show "Friends," and cooing to stuffed animals. Cybill wonders if she needs to call an exorcist.
