Episode #412 "Show Me The Minnie"

 Cybill is watching a cable access show and discovers that a deranged fan of hers is trying to get people to boycott her w o rk. Sh e’s so upset she starts cleaning the garage, prompting it to cave in due to damage from a recent eart h q u a k e . Cybill learns from her contractor (who she and Ma ryann are ve ry attracted to) there is major structural damage that is going to cost a lot of money to fix. Ma ryann and Ira offer her loans. Cybill refuses them both, saying she doesn’t want to mix friendship and money-lending. Ma ryann makes fun of Ir a’s offer, letting it slip that if Cybill we re to borrow fro m someone it would definitely be her. Upset because he knows it’s true, Ira says he feels like there we re always three people in his marriage and he was the odd man out. Hu rt that he would accuse her of such a thing, Ma ryann tells Cybill she wants no part of Ira ever again. Meanwhile, Cybill goes to the bank to get a loan and discovers that here deranged fan f rom the cable show (Minnie Arbogast) is the loan officer. Minnie agrees to approve the loan if Cybill will come on Mi n n i e’s cable access show to be interv i ewed. Cybill refuses but still agrees to take the money. Back at the house, Cy b i l l tricks Ma ryann and Ira into getting together to make up. Cybill admits that whenever she has a relationship with a man t h e re might be a problem because she and Ma ryann are so close. Ma ryann and Ira admit they don’t care for each other, but ban together when Minnie comes to the house, because they hate her even more. Cybill is pleased. She gets her loan and her friends make up. With eve rything back to normal. Cybill and Ma ryann spend the rest of the afternoon ogling the contractor.
