Episode #304 "The Breakup"

Grace and Ben take the kids to the county fair, and Grace realizes that the kids enjoy Ben's company more than she does. Though Grace has reservations about dating Rick because of his management position at the company, she agrees to go out with him and knows she must confront Ben and tell him it's over. Ben drops off some baseball tickets for Quentin, who obviously adores him, but Grace has no opportunity to speak to him alone, so later when Quentin encounters Grace and Rick kissing goodnight, he reacts angrily and runs to Ben's house. Grace follows and tells a resigned Ben that their relationship is finished. Wade and Nadine clash when Wade catches Nadine using his toothbrush and finds it disgusting. And Grace and Quentin finally have a talk about the breakup, but as Quentin berates her, calling her a rotten mother, Grace stands her ground and says she'll keep seeing Rick because he makes her happy.
