Episode #307 "Matthew Gets Busted"

When Matthew calls Grace from the campus jail because he can't reach his adoptive parents, she goes to his rescue and then learns that he was arrested for running naked through a candlelight vigil for women's rights. Russell reluctantly accepts his dad's offer to go into business together with a one-hour photo counter at the pharmacy. Grace has a visit from Emily, Matthew's adoptive mother who is angry that Grace posted bail for her son, says Grace had no right to interfere and tells Grace to stay away from Matthew. Russell tries to interest Wade in investing in his photo business. Nadine suggests that maybe Grace should have let his parents handle Matthew's arrest, but Grace insists that she did what she thought was right. Matthew arrives at Grace's after a fight with Emily and confesses that he used his one call from jail to contact Grace because he thought she'd be more understanding. Emily and Grace try to make peace, with Grace reassuring Emily that she's not trying to take Matthew away from her.
