Episode #421 "Quentin Gets His Gun"

When Grace asks Jimmy how long his rusted-out junker car is going to sit in the driveway, Jimmy tells her that he and Quentin are going to work on it together. Wade comes to lend Jimmy some tools, and Jimmy tells them he'll be out of town overnight; Grace says she hates to leave Quentin alone with the kids late at night, but Wade volunteers to stop by a few times while he's on patrol. Quentin tells Grace he should be out having fun instead of baby-sitting while she's out doing her stuff. Jerry, Sam's dad, tells Grace the neighbors are concerned about the junker car and the unsavory looking tenant she has in the garage. When Libby shows up at the bar when Grace is working and Quentin thinks she's upstairs doing her homework, Grace knows she has a problem; back at home, Libby hears a noise and Quentin goes to investigate. Convinced that there's a prowler, he grabs Jimmy's rifle, which goes off accidentally, scaring Wade, who's come by to check on the kids. Wade is convinced that Quentin deliberately tried to shoot him. Grace is furious with Jimmy for giving Quentin access to a gun, but Quentin angrily tells her to leave Jimmy out of this. Sam's dad tells him it isn't safe to play at the Kelly's, while Grace tells Nadine she feels as if her whole family's going down the tubes even though she's tried so hard to make everything right. Grace admits to Quentin that she's been laying far too much responsibility on him.
