Episode #101 "Action Mountain High"

  Claudia returns from an overnight visit to her mother's and discovers that Sean has barricaded Lily in her room. Sean explains that Lily left the house saying that she was going to dinner with her friend Kristina and Kristina's mother. Later that evening while her and Eddie were outside grilling hotdogs with the boys, he received a call from the Action Mountain amusement park in New Jersey asking him to come and get his daughter and her friends. Claudia has the car, and Eddie won't loan Sean his. Eddie agrees to drive Sean, and Walt comes over to sit with the boys. Walt observes that Sean is a poor excuse for a father; his daughter is in another state and he didn't know about it. At the park he learns that the boys were getting rowdy on the Magic Journey Ride and were detained by security guards who then discovered that they had smuggled in scotch in a shampoo bottle. In fact they hadn't consumed much alcohol, but they had forgotten to rinse the shampoo bottle before putting in the scotch, and one of the boys was disgustingly sick and throwing up. On the way out of the park, the group encounters an obnoxious security guard with hair plugs who recognizes Sean and Eddie and reminds them that they are banned from the park for life. Sean gives him a hard time, and the kids love it. Sean's feeling pretty good until he hears one of the boys tell Lily that her dad's cool and that she was right to insist on calling him. It suddenly hits Sean that he's been had, and he assures all the kids that he will be telling their parents. Lily's humiliated, and when they return home, she tries to storm out and go to a girlfriend's house to spend the night, but Sean won't allow it. He has no choice but to lock her in her room. Claudia tells him that he needs to talk to Lily. This won't be the last time she gets into trouble, so Sean might as well get used to it. After all, Lily is only four years younger than Claudia was when she got pregnant. Sean agrees. He tells Lily if she's going to raise hell, she should do it with smart kids. That way they won't get caught and Sean won't have to know anything about it.
