Sean's
in confession telling the priest that he needs an ally to help him
defeat Sister Helen, the nun who's the school principal. In the
course of the conversation, it's revealed that the priest is Sean's
old friend Tim, now Father Tim, who was as wild as Sean back in
high school. Lily's telling Claudia that she's never going to school
again when Sean walks in with Tim. Claudia can't believe he's a
priest now. Sean begins telling Tim why he wants to get even with
Sister Helen. Clearly she has it in for Lily and the whole Finnerty
family. Lily got detention recently, and Sean and Claudia were summoned
to Sister Helen's office, because Jimmy has been extremely disruptive
in class. Jimmy's convinced he's possessed by Satan, but Sean assures
Tim that he's not. The real problem, Sean insists, is that Sister
Helen is out to get Lily, and this time it's about the length of
her skirt. Lily says she's being singled out, because she's not
one of the nun's goody goody princesses. Eddie and Walt arrive,
and Eddie tells Claudia that he remembers that she and Tim had a
thing in high school. When Jimmy hears that Tim's a priest, he thinks
there's going to be an exorcism. Jimmy's been having this problem
ever since Sean and Eddie sneaked Jimmy and Henry into "The Exorcist"
after they all got bored with some kiddie movie that Henry had wanted
to see. Lily protests that she's not the only one wearing a short
skirt, so Sean and Eddie lurk around the schoolyard fence with a
camera trying to document this for Sister Helen's benefit. Claudia
tells Tim that she hopes that she had nothing to do with his decision
to enter the priesthood. Sean tells Jimmy that he's not possessed
by Satan, because there is no Satan. Because Sean shows Sister Helen
the photos of Lily's classmates in short skirts, she decides to
make all the girls wear jumpers like the ones worn by the younger
girls. She tells the girls that Lily is the one who brought the
skirt lengths to her attention. Lily knows she's dead meat. Tim
says that everyone should respect Sister Helen's position of authority,
and, frankly, Sean and Lily don't have a case. Claudia says that
Lily's a chip off the old block; neither she nor Sean can deal with
authority. Father Tim holds a pretend exorcism to bring Jimmy back
to reality. Seeking revenge, Sean and Lily mistakenly vandalize
a car that's parked next to Sister Helen's.
