Sean, Claudia, Jimmy, Henry and four of Henry’s friends come home dripping wet with an angry Sean anxious to call the credit card company. A shifty looking guy carrying a cello is lurking in the back hallway; he takes off out the door when Sean spots him. Eddie’s in the kitchen, and refuses to answer Sean’s questions about the cello guy. Eddie asks about Henry’s birthday celebration, and Sean says that his credit card was declined three times at the water park, so he was stuck with six very disappointed kids. Sean calls the credit card company, is put on hold and continues telling Eddie his story. Back in their neighborhood, Sean opens a fire hydrant so the kids can play in the water, but one of the kids, Perry, gets knocked down by the water blast. The sound of a police siren makes them jump in the car and take off. While Sean’s on hold, Lily confesses to Claudia that she had a small “emergency” and had to use her credit card. Walt can’t believe that Sean would ever have approved a card for Lily, but Claudia assures him that their only concern was for Lily’s safety. Sean is still on the phone ranting, when Claudia tells him that Lily maxed out their card. Lily assures them it was an exergency. She and two of her girlfriends are at Moca Jojo’s where they run into Dean, the object of Lily’s intense crush. He invites them to a party at his house that night, and she simply has to have something new to wear. Walt, trying to show Henry and his friends a good time, has them run through the backyard sprinkler and then takes them through the car wash, but it’s just not the water park. Lily goes on to explain that she started out to buy just one blouse, but when the clerk assures her she can return any purchase for a full refund, she goes on a shopping spree. At the party, Dean tells Lily how great she looks and tries to kiss her, but she’s so nervous about keeping her outfit spotless that it almost doesn’t happen. When he does manage to kiss her, she’s in heaven. The next day, when she tries to return the clothes, she’s in big trouble, because she can’t get cash, only a store credit slip. Henry’s birthday isn’t a total loss, because Sean grabs Lily’s credit slip and the takes the kids to the store to buy toys.
