Episode #419 "Pictures of Willy"

Jimmy asks Eddie and Hope how to talk to a woman without turning yourself into a babbling moron. Jimmy had spent several minutes talking to a girl at Mocha Jo Jo's, and she didn't say anything back at all. She completely ignored him! Later, in the Finnerty kitchen, Eddie asks Claudia if she remembers his ex-girlfriend Amy. Crazy Amy, asks Claudia. She was out of her mind. Claudia's glad Amy's out of Eddie's life. Last night she popped back in, Eddie tells her. Amy came up to Eddie and Hope on the street the night before, and it was really awkward. Eddie explains that Amy likes to think they're still together. Lily has news for Jimmy. She saw what happened at Mocha JoJo's and decided to confront the girl. She found out that the girl is deaf. She wasn't snubbing him; she couldn't hear him. Eddie admits to Claudia that he saw Amy on New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day. Claudia tells him to stop sleeping with the crazy lady. He did, and that's why she's so mad. They hear a crash. Eddie's car has been tipped over on its side. Brad knows sign language, and he's teaching Lily some signs so she can communicate with the deaf girl, Emma, who's now Jimmy's girlfriend. Lily is not taking the lesson too seriously, and Brad's getting frustrated. Jimmy has invited Emma to dinner but forgot to tell Claudia that she's vegan. Emma arrives, and Brad immediately strikes up a conversation. Sean and Eddie come in lugging a huge safe. Claudia wants to know what's inside. Eddie explains that while he was dating Amy, she took some nude photos of him, and some of them were pretty kinky. Eddie's sure that the photos are in the safe which they stole from Amy's apartment. He has to get the photos back or he could lose Hope. Claudia tells them to put the safe in the basement. If it's for Hope, she's on board. Jimmy's kind of bummed out, because he and Emma don't seem to have a lot in common, but he perks up when Lily tells him that the girls at school think he's a sensitive stud. Claudia goes outside and is startled by Amy who is pressed up against the house beside the front door. She's looking for Eddie. Her safe is missing, and she's wondering if it might have something to do with the lovers' quarrel she had with Eddie. Jimmy doesn't have the guts to break up with Emma. What would everyone think of him? He asks Lily if she'll do it for him. She'll do it, but he's pathetic, she tells him. Sean and Eddie are downstairs trying to open the safe while Claudia desperately tries to get rid of Amy. Amy says to tell Eddie not to worry, because the pictures aren't in the safe. Claudia tells Eddie that Amy was here, and there are no photos is the safe. Eddie has no idea what to do. Lily's with Emma and is trying to tell her that things aren't working out with Jimmy. Emma doesn't get it at all and heads downstairs to find Brad. She signs to Brad asking what's going on. Brad interprets for Jimmy as Jimmy explains how he feels. He and Emma agree to be friends. Hope stops by and says she has the photos Eddie sent. She thinks it was a bold gesture, sharing something so personal. Those photos are really twisted. When Hope asks, Eddie tells her that Sean took the photos. Eddie takes the photos and goes to see Amy. He wants Amy to leave him alone. What they had was special, but it's in the past. He gets out the photos. Who is this, he asks. It's you, says Amy. I would never do what the person in this picture is doing, says Eddie. Oh my God, it's Robert, says Amy. She sent Eddie's photos to Robert's wife.
