Sarah
convinces Kevin that he needs to buy a new bed, and she even offers
to pay half on it; he reluctantly agrees, but later gets the paranoid
feeling that she's plotting to move in with him and take over his
life. In what starts as a miscommunication, Jamie tells Cherie that
his mother has died and convinces her to go out on a "date" to help
him scatter her ashes. Kevin confronts Sarah about his suspicions,
and she angrily says that she'll buy the new bed for her apartment
because it's over between them. As they're about to scatter the
ashes, Cherie finds a chicken wing in the urn and tells Jamie he's
the most disgusting person she's ever met. When Sarah brings movers
to take away the bed, Kevin is reluctant to give it up. They have
a discussion using the bed as a metaphor for their relationship
and come to the conclusion that they belong together.
