Episode #204 "No Retreat, No Surrender"

  Kevin tells Jamie he’s marrying Sarah and moving to Chicago; Jamie’s stunned and reminds Kevin he’s breaking a “no marriage” vow they made when they were kids, but he agrees to be Kevin’s best man when he finds out Brenda will be maid of honor. Jamie and Brenda go shopping for Jamie’s tux, and Jamie flashes back to a scene of himself and Kevin as kids. Jamie kidnaps Kevin, takes him to a warehouse gives him a slide presentation on the evils of marriage in an attempt to do an “intervention.” Kevin informs him that marriage is not an addiction and he’s going through with the wedding. Jamie’s devastated when he learns Brenda is taking a date to the wedding, but he has fun abusing the guy when he comes to pick Brenda up. During the ceremony Jamie hears the minister’s talk about obligation and sacrifice and immediately stresses out, fantasizing about himself as a married man. He snaps back to attention as Kevin asks him for the ring, pops the ring into his mouth, punches Kevin and takes off running to save Kevin from a fate worse than death. Kevin chases him and the crash through a stained glass wedding, but Kevin catches him, gets the ring back and the wedding goes on.
