Episode 9514-914 “Becky Howser, M.D.”

  Knowing that Becky is feeling a little depressed about Darlene’s big job offer, Mark invites the Conners over for a surprise get-together to cheer her up. This only makes her more depressed, and later she tells Mark she’s going to college and then medical school. Puzzled and then angry that Becky is unhappy with their life together, Mark blames Roseanne for butting into their lives. Roseanne then tells Becky she’s proud of her decision to get an education, but cautions her not to give up on Mark and their marriage. Attempting to become independent, David looks for a job and an apartment.
