Gerald Ford is coming to Point Place on a whistle stop tour, and plans are being made for the big day. Kitty finds the prospect of a presidential visit exciting beyond belief. The high school principal warns his student body that he'll tolerate no protests or other shenanigans. Mr. Burkhart, Jackie's dad, and Bob Pinciotti, along with other local Republicans, are planning the question and answer portion of the presidential rally and determine that Red Foreman will be the perfect working class "little guy" to ask Mr. Ford a question. Inspired by the principal's speech, Hyde, Fez and Kelso hatch a plot to streak through the rally, but Eric remains undecided. Bob has American flag jumpsuits made for himself, Midge and Donna; mortified, Donna refuses to wear hers. Red says he'll ask a question about how Ford plans to fix the economy. Eric finally agrees to join the streakers but swears everyone to secrecy so his dad won't find out. The guys, with trenchcoats and Halloween masks, are discussing their streaking strategy while Kitty talks to Donna, who's refusing to attend the rally. Kitty tells her that all families are embarrassing, and if they're not then they're dead. At the rally, Donna surprises and pleases her parents by showing up in her jumpsuit. At the last minute, as they're getting ready to streak, all the guys lose their nerve and decide to sit down, but when Red gets up to ask his question and Freezes, Eric whips off his trenchcoat and streaks through the auditorium. Red finds his voice and asks Ford how he could have pardoned Nixon.
