Eric tells Hyde that he's like the brother he never had, but Eric soon gets upset when it's clear that Hyde's getting preferential treatment from his parents. It doesn't help when Hyde works overtime to be a good "son" volunteering to do Eric's chores and generally sucking up to Red and Kitty. Donna's upset, because her parents seem to be fighting all the time. Bull, an old army buddy of Red's, comes back to town and offers Red a job in his hot tub company; things look promising until Red and Kitty discover that Bull and his wife are swingers and want the Forman's to join in. Eric and the gang smash the Forman family's television set while bouncing a bowling ball off the living room sofa. Hyde tries to show his solidarity with Eric by confessing that he did it. Red blames both Hyde and Eric and tells them they're going to buy him the biggest new television he can find.
