When Donna asks Eric if he wants to go to the movies the next night and he
declines, saying he's hanging out with the guys but she can come along if she
wants, he's in big trouble, but he doesn't have a clue. Red and Laurie are
depressed when Kitty insists they go with her to the nursing home to visit her
Aunt Pearl. Kelso is miserable without Jackie and decides to write a song to
win her back. Donna asks Jackie if she's overreacting by being mad at Eric,
and Jackie tells her that actually she's under-reacting; she should break up with
Eric now before it's too late. Once you let a guy have sex with you, he'll start
taking you for granted. An "All In The Family" fantasy sequence follows in
which Jackie and Kelso are Gloria and Meathead and Donna and Eric are
Edith and Archie. Even though she's broken up with Kelso, Jackie still wants
to hang out with Hyde. He reluctantly agrees to go to Sizzler with her when she
says she's buying. Eric tells Kelso he's amused to see him with girl trouble;
Kelso tells him to wait and see, because Donna will break his heart too. Donna
comes in, and Eric jokingly asks her to get him a root beer. She rips his head off
and leaves. Kelso has the last laugh. Jackie not only buys dinner but also buys
Hyde some new boots. She suggests they get together the following night, and,
when Hyde says it was a one time only thing, she starts crying. Hyde immediately
feels guilty and tries to console her. At the nursing home, Aunt Pearl tells the
Formans that she hates their visits, because she has to put her teeth in. Kelso tries
to sing his song to Jackie, but Fez keeps interrupting by singing "Besame Mucho."
Both Kelso and Fez get upset when they realize that Jackie has been spending time
with Hyde. Red insists that Eric call Donna and apologize before she realizes how
much better off she'd be without him. And Eric tells Donna he'll do anything he
has to do for them to be together.
