Episode #221 "Jackie Moves On"

SYNOPSIS:

Kelso's happy to hear that Jackie's really depressed over their break-up, but Hyde reminds him that he cried like a baby. Fez asks Kelso's permission to take Jackie out, but Donna doesn't think that's a good idea. Hyde agrees; Jackie's on the rebound, and Fez should give her a break. But Fez says nothing will stop him from asking Jackie out, not even ninjas. In a fantasy sequence three ninja warriors appear, and Fez is about to fight them when Kelso brings him back to reality saying that it's all right to ask Jackie, but he's sure Jackie will say no. That afternoon Eric and Laurie are bickering in the Forman kitchen when Red comes in and announces that he's made reservations for himself and Kitty at a French restaurant in town. This is a chance, Red says, for Kitty to get dressed up and wear his mom's necklace. Kitty's immediately in a panic, because she doesn't have the necklace anymore. Fez calls Jackie and very awkwardly asks her out to dinner; she says yes without knowing who it is. Fez thinks he's a winner. Kitty and Red leave for dinner with Kitty trying to convince Red that the necklace she's wearing is, in fact, the one his mother gave her. Jackie and Fez are in a fancy restaurant having dinner. Fez is all dressed up, while Jackie looks frumpy and disheveled. Jackie is stuffing herself and asking about Michael. Fez cringes when he sees that she has spinach in her teeth. Red's on Kitty's case about the necklace, and he accuses her of losing it. She's forced to confess that she pawned it for grocery money while Red was unemployed. Jackie tells Donna that clearly she's completely over Kelso. Donna says that Jackie's crazy; she stuffing herself and if she isn't careful she's going to get fat. Jackie's eating blueberry pie. A fantasy sequence follows in which Jackie turns blue and expands like the Blueberry Girl from "Willy Wonka." Donna pulls out a Willy Wonka penny whistle and summons the "Oompa Loompas" (Fez and Kelso) who roll her toward the door. Jackie tells Donna that she's scared. She has to control herself. Eric overhears Hyde and Laurie mention his name and thinks Laurie has told Hyde one of his secrets. When Hyde refuses to disclose the content of their conversation, Eric lets slip that he's afraid she told Hyde that his nickname at camp was Dr. Pee Pee. To get revenge, Eric tells Hyde that Laurie was born with a tail. Laurie's horrified, and, when Kelso finds out, he wants to know if he slept with the devil. The guys are out playing basketball when Jackie shows up looking great. She thanks Fez for being such a good friend at dinner; after all, she wasn't her usual super-cute self. And when Fez asks Jackie for a kiss and gets it, Kelso goes ballistic.
