Red's at Fatsoburger, and tells the manager that his burger tastes like a fried shoe. The cook, who gets fired immediately, is Earl recently fired by Red at Pricemart. Donna gets a job sorting records for Jerry Thunder's radio show. She can't believe how lucky she is, because Jerry knows rock stars and gets free concert tickets. Jerry's on the air and asks Donna, who he calls Hot Donna, if she has a boyfriend. He indicates that he wants her to answer negatively which she does. He later explains that an available Hot Donna is better for the ratings. Donna thinks that Eric is cool enough to handle this. The guys kid Eric that Donna's left him in the dust to hang with the rock stars. Jackie tells Eric not to worry, there'll be other girls, but Eric maintains that Donna hasn't broken up with him. Donna bursts in and cancels their movie date, talking nonstop about how she's going to get to meet Alice Cooper. Kelso, missing the love van, agrees to buy Leo's van for five hundred dollars. Earl shows up at the house angrily saying that it's Red's fault that he's out of work. Eric has a fantasy in which Donna and Alice Cooper joke about her loser boyfriend and Alice suggests that they feed Eric to his snake.. Eric tells the guys that he really has a problem. Kelso tells the guys he needs five hundred bucks from them. He goes to Jackie who agrees to give him the money if he'll be her errand boy for a week. Kitty lays a guilt trip on Red, and he goes off looking for Earl. Kitty's concerned about what's going on with Eric and Donna; she tells Eric how important trust is in a relationship. Red convinces Ricky, the Fatsoburger manager, to hire Red back. Leo decides he can't sell the van to Kelso; he's giving it to Hyde who's like the son he never had. Eric goes to the radio station to tell off Jerry Thunder, but when he sees him, Eric relealizes that he has nothing to worry about. Donna says they've been together too long for Eric not to trust her, and it really bothers her when he acts so insecure. Eric assures her they don't have a problem and admits that her job is really, really cool.
