Eric's so depressed over the break-up with Donna that he's spending most of his time curled up in bed in the dark. Jackie, Kelso, Hyde and Fez plan a trip to Funland amusement park to cheer him up, but he refuses to go. They go without him. Kitty's worried, because Eric hasn't eaten in several days. Clearly he doesn't want to discuss his feelings with her, and she tells Red that she's at a disadvantage here in any case, because she's never been dumped. She insists that Red go talk to Eric. Red's at a loss too, but he goes to Eric's room, tells him that his life could be much work, and sends him out to do some work in the yard to clear his head. Grudgingly he goes outside, but an encounter with Donna, who's also doing some yard work for the same reason, sends him back to bed. At Funland, Jackie warns Kelso to make sure he doesn't get lost, but moments later he's nowhere to be found. All attempts to find him are in vain, and before long everyone is distracted by all the things to do at the amusement park. Kelso shows up in the park's lost and found where he's being harassed by a pair of six-year-old twin boys. His friends have no choice but to leave without him. Hyde points out that dog's have journeyed hundreds of miles to be reunited with their families, so a few miles shouldn't be much of a problem even for Kelso. He catches a ride home with the twins and their mom as he continues to be tortured by the two small boys. And Red tells Eric to stay in bed if he needs to and take a few days to pull himself together. When Eric mentions that he's the one who dumped Donna, Red isn't buying it.
