In the Forman basement, Fez proudly shows the gang the large, heart-shaped box of candy that he bought for Rhonda for Valentine’s Day. He’ll just have to try to keep from eating it. Jackie comes in from work, and Kelso asks her for some money so he can buy her whatever foo foo crap she wants for Valentine’s Day. Jackie tells him that she works hard for her money, so he isn’t getting any; he’ll have to come up with some cash on his own. Jackie and Donna are at The Hub when Casey Kelso walks in. Donna immediately turns bright red. Jackie has never seen her like this. Jackie pushes Donna to get up and talk to him. She comes back, very excited, and reports that Casey said he’ll give her a call. Kelsos never call, Jackie tells her. Donna will have to go see him. Kelso tries to give Jackie an address rock for Valentine’s Day, but she’s having no part of it. It’s not even her address. In fact, Donna recognizes it as her dad’s address rock. That night, in the Forman living room, Red, out of the blue, tells Eric that he loves him. Eric’s speechless. Donna shows up at the Kelsos, and Michael figures out that Donna’s interested in his brother. She explains to Casey that she came over, because he didn’t have her number, and Casey says they’re going out tomorrow night. Donna’s ecstatic. The next morning Eric tells Kitty about what Red said. He actually said it twice. Eric wonders if Red was abducted by aliens. Kitty thinks maybe Red said it because he was touched by the Valentine she sent him saying what a good father he is. Kitty’s so happy. She agrees that Eric should say it back. Fez has started eating the candy he bought for Rhonda, and now he can’t stop. Kelso has no idea where to get the cash for Jackie’s present; he refuses to sell his blood. Eric tells him about a clinic in Madison that pay for his, “uh, manly donations.” Kelso can’t believe his good luck; he’ll do it! Later that day, Kelso tells the guys it was the easiest money he ever made. Later, in the Forman driveway, Donna tells Kelso that Casey stood her up. What’s wrong with the Kelso family anyway? Did they all get dropped on their heads? Kitty asks Red if something special happened yesterday and learns that Red went to the dentist, got a lot of drugs and spent the rest of the day in a fog. He has no idea what he said to Eric. She tries to warn Eric before he says anything, but she’s too late. Red, horrified, tells Eric to go to his room. Fez is down to the last candy in the box. Rhonda is going to be so disappointed. Kelso presents Jackie with some beautiful earrings; he worked a double shift to earn the money. Jackie’s delighted that he took some initiative and got a job, but when she hears about his “work,” she puts her foot down. Michael’s so hot that every woman is going to want to take some of his little Kelsos home. Donna confronts Casey about standing her up. He was rebuilding the carburetor of the Trans-Am; he flaked on her, but no big deal. Donna has trouble trying to stay mad. How about showing up the next time? He’ll give it a shot. Jackie and Michael go to the cryobank to get back his little Kelsos. And Red tells Eric that it’s generally inappropriate for men to talk about love; in their case, it’s just a given.
