Jackie shows up at Eric’s after cheerleading practice, and she’s accompanied by Leslie Cannon, a girl Eric had a crush on in seventh grade. Leslie sees Red’s Corvette and asks who it belongs to; Eric has no choice but to say it’s his. Leslie tells Eric to pick her up at seven, and they’ll go for a ride. Eric, says Hyde, is using his dad’s dream car to get a totally hot chick who would otherwise never date him. Eric agrees. Red and Kitty are going out of town for their high school reunion. Red orders Eric not to move the car unless there’s a fire and then only to the end of the driveway. Red will know if the car’s been moved. He may even have set some booby traps. Donna and Jackie go to see Casey Kelso and find Michael in Casey’s room. Michael tells them that Casey’s out of town. Michael leaves, and Donna takes the opportunity to do a little snooping with Jackie egging her on. Hyde tells Eric that Red will catch him for sure if he takes the car, but Eric thinks he can carry it off. He knows all of Red’s tricks. He shows the guys that Red has used the old “strand of hair across the ignition” trap. Eric and Leslie are parked in the Corvette when Leslie notices the pine-scented air freshener. To Eric’s dismay, she grabs it and throws it out of the car. They kiss, and Leslie asks Eric if she can drive. At first he says no, but with another kiss, he relents. Red and Kitty get to the hotel where the reunion is to be held and discover that they have the date wrong. At Donna’s house, Donna, feeling guilty, tells Jackie that they spent three hours in Casey’s room and discovered nothing. Then she realizes that she left her chemistry book on Casey’s desk; they have to go back and get it. Before the head home, Kitty wants to call Eric and let him know they’re coming home early. Red’s would much rather surprise Eric and catch him doing something wrong. Kitty won’t hear of it. Fez and Hyde get Kitty’s call, and Hyde suggests they go finish off Red’s beer and maybe Eric will get blamed for that too. Leslie is speeding, and Eric’s in a panic. They hit a pothole, Leslie loses control, and the Corvette slides off the side of the road. Eric retrieves a hubcap and tells Leslie that they’re weren’t any scratches or dents. Leslie, putting on lipstick, couldn’t care less. In Casey’s room, Donna and Jackie find Michael asleep in Casey’s bed. Michael wakes up, thinks he’s dreaming and invites Donna into bed first. Jackie freaks and lunges for him but is caught by Donna, who pushes her out the window the way they came in. Back at the Forman house, Eric, Hyde and Fez check out the mud-splattered Corvette. Eric thinks he’s in the clear. All he has to do is wash the car. Then he gets the news that his parents will be home in twenty minutes. When Red does the car inspection, Eric thinks he’s home free; he’s even replaced the air freshener. Jackie questions Kelso about his dream, but he swears he would never have a sexy dream about anyone but her. And Eric’s busted because he’s forgotten to switch the Corvette’s radio back to Red’s station.
