Episode #425 "That '70s Musical" (100th Episode)

SYNOPSIS:

Fez is excited that he has a role in the school concert, The Spring Sing, that's happening that night. He reminds the gang that he invited them weeks ago. They're less than enthusiastic. Fez has a fantasy in which they all sing together ("Sing") inside a giant jukebox. That night, Kitty and Red are backstage with Fez where they meet Mr. Wilkinson, the very unpleasant music teacher. Wilkinson informs Fez that he's being moved to the back row so no one can hear his squawky voice. Fez consoles himself that his friends will soon be here and they can all be like a family. He has a fantasy in which they are his family ("Happy Together") and he lives with the Formans. Bob arrives, and Fez is happy to see him but asks when the gang will be there. Bob doesn't think they will be. When he left they were hanging out in the basement. Fez imagines that they're saying horrible things about him and deliberately singing without him ("The Joker"). He tells Red and Kitty that people must see him as just the goofy foreign kid. Fez is really mad now. The kids he thought of as his friends only care about themselves and their stupid, messed up relationships. He imagines the kids each screaming "me, me, me" and then sees them performing a ballet with flashing disco lights and a mirror ball and singing ("Love Hurts"). Leo shows up and asks where the kids are. Fez says it's always him, all alone ("Happy Together" reprise). Fez is ready to leave and forget the whole thing when the kids arrive. When he asks where they've been, they say they were passing by Wilkinson's house, and, since Fez hates him so much, they decided to toilet paper it. They also decided they needed to add some dog poop. And as an opening night present, they give Wilkinson's mailbox to Fez. Fez is touched and grateful that they would do all this for him. Everyone bursts into song ("Shake Your Groove Thing") and rush out the doors onto the street. They're all wearing flashy dance costumes. Fez hears his cue and runs onto the stage as the gang claps and shouts encouragement.
