Episode #503 "What is and What Should Never Be"

Kitty drops a bomb at breakfast by announcing that she's pregnant. Eric and Steven are quick to congratulate her, but Red needs a little more time to digest this startling piece of news. The gang is hanging out in the Forman driveway when Donna starts needling Jackie, in front of Kelso, about her little secret. Jackie tells her to mind her own business, but later Donna tells Jackie she's tired of covering for her. Jackie owes it to everyone to tell Kelso the truth. Eric asks Kitty why Red is acting so funny about the baby, but Kitty tells him not to worry, because Red always comes around. Eric tells Hyde that he can't believe he and Jackie got together. Jackie's the devil! But Hyde protests that she's really hot. Red tells Kitty that kid or no kid, he's not selling the Corvette. He waited twenty-five years for that car. Kitty tells Donna and Jackie about the Corvette conversation, and Donna says she can't believe that men are such jerks. Red should be thrilled about the baby. Kelso, Hyde and Fez are at the DMV, because Kelso lost his license. Hyde tries to talk to Kelso about Jackie, but Kelso misunderstands. He thinks Hyde's telling him that Jackie was with another guy this summer. Fez announces that he loves the DMV. They're "equal opportunity" and treat everyone like crap. Fez thinks he'd like to work there. Eric asks Red what his problem is; he really upset Kitty. Red tells Eric that Eric made him bald. It was all Eric's fault. Eric says he doesn't usually tell his dad what to do, but in this case Red should be a man. That night Red tells Kitty that he's selling the Corvette. And the issue of keeping secrets from Kelso becomes academic when he sees Hyde and Jackie kissing in the Forman driveway.
