Kelso goes completely crazy when he sees Hyde and Jackie kissing in the driveway. He can't be with her! It breaks all kinds of codes, says Kelso. He can't believe that Hyde would pick a girl over a friend. He's going to kick Hyde's ass. Red's morose because he's selling his beloved Corvette because they're having another baby. He prays that this child won't be another smartass. Kitty's going to the doctor that afternoon, so she tells Eric that he has to pick up his grandparents who are flying in from Phoenix that afternoon. Red says he was hoping that when they moved to Arizona they'd get lost in the desert. When Hyde asks what's wrong with Kitty's parents, Eric explains that Grandma yells and Grandpa drinks. Kelso says he can't believe that everyone, even Kitty, knew about Hyde and Jackie and no one told him. And that isn't as bad as Hyde not telling Kelso himself. Kelso has a plan; he'll outwit Hyde in conversation, and Hyde will have to confess. But no battle of wits is needed. Hyde admits it. He's been messing around with Jackie. Donna and Eric are driving the grandparents, Burt and Bea, home from the airport, and Donna tells Eric she kind of likes them. What was he so worried about? Abruptly Bea starts yelling at Burt, and Donna's horrified. Later, in the Pinciotti kitchen, Donna tells Jackie that Kelso saw her and Hyde kissing, and it was awful. She urges Jackie to work things out, because otherwise everyone's going to take sides and nobody's going to be friends anymore. Jackie says she didn't do anything wrong. Kelso's the one who deserted her and broke her heart. Donna reminds Jackie that she's dating Kelso's best friend. Jackie has to talk to Kelso and explain things. Back at the Forman house, Red, Eric and the grandparents are chatting when Kitty comes in. Red insists that she make her big announcement, and she reluctantly tells everyone that the doctor says she's started menopause. She's not pregnant. Later, Eric tells Kitty how sorry he is. He knows how much she wanted the baby. Eric says maybe Kitty should talk to grandma about everything. Kitty tells Bea she's really having a hard time. Did menopause hit Bea this hard too? Bea says she never had it, and besides it's not nice to talk about. Kelso keeps trying to pound Hyde without success. Hyde says it's time to settle things. He offers Kelso a free punch, but Kelso declines. That won't change anything. Hyde says he's sorry, and Donna demands that they shake hands. They grudgingly shake. Later, Jackie reminds Kelso that he broke her heart, but now she's with Hyde and it's time they all go back to being friends. Apology accepted, says Kelso. And Kitty finally has something to laugh about when Red tells her that earlier that day, when he still thought she was pregnant, he sold the Corvette.
