It's Thanksgiving, and everyone's coming the for Forman's for dinner. Eric warns Schotzie, Kitty's dog, to stay away from his witch sister. Eric's failing math, and, rather than catch hell from Red, he signs the failing notice sent by his teacher, Ms. McGee. Laurie arrives, and Kitty's thrilled. She just knew Laurie would come. But Red directs her to the children's table and lets Eric eat with the adults for a change, because he's finally acting like one. Eric tells Donna how thrilled he is to get to sit a the grown-ups' table. Even though, Donna adds, Eric's failing math, because he spends all his time with her. Eric says that the tonight's the night he's going to announce their engagement. Donna thinks it's awesome. Everyone except Kelso and his date are gathered that the two Thanksgiving tables. Even Burt and Bea, Kitty's parents, are there. Kelso arrives with Carol, his date, who happens to be Eric's math teacher, Ms. McGee. Donna thinks maybe Eric should postpone the big announcement now that his math teacher's here, but Eric disagrees. They're home free, because clearly Ms. McGee's a cradle-robbing slut. She'll keep her mouth shut, because she wants Eric to keep quiet about her and Kelso.
But Eric starts to make his big announcement, and Fez, misunderstanding what Eric's planning to do, blurts out that Eric's flunking math. It's then revealed that Eric also forged Red's signature on the failing notice. Everyone just sits there, while Kitty tries to change the subject. Who likes dark meat? Red immediately banishes Eric to the kids' table and tells Bob that Eric's problem is all the time he's spending with Donna. Bob responds that Eric corrupted Donna to the point that he had to send her to Catholic school. And Red tells Eric that from now on, anytime Eric disobeys, lies or pisses Red off in any way, he's going to fine him. It's kind of like giving him tickets for being dumb, adds Laurie.
