Episode #513 "Whole Lotta Love (The Silent Treatment)"

Red's livid about Eric's and Donna's engagement. He can't imagine how they'll be able to live on their own. Donna can't believe that Eric spilled the beans. They were going to give his parents lots of wine before they made their announcement. At the DMV, Fez starts to kiss Nina, but she pulls away. They can't do that at work, and the tension between them is beginning to cause problems. Kitty pushes Eric to have a talk with Red, but Red's giving him the silent treatment. Eric's pleasantly surprised. Kelso gives Jackie a birthday gift, and Hyde says she should have told him; he would've bought her something. Jackie says she's trying not to care so much about gifts and material things, but it's not working because the angora sweater Kelso got her is beautiful. Hyde accuses Kelso of trying to make him look bad, but it isn't going to work. Kelso isn't going to win. Nina tells Fez that the best way to get rid of the tension between them is for Fez to spend the night with her. Since Red is still not speaking to Eric, Donna suggests that maybe she should talk to Red. They've always gotten along. That's fine by Eric. The next day Fez comes to the Forman basement and announces to the gang that he finally did it; he lost his virginity. When everyone wants details, he confesses that it wasn't quite the blissfully romantic experience he'd pictured. Afterwards he cried in Nina's bathroom and snuck out the back door leaving his underwear behind. Donna tries to explain to Red and Kitty that she and Eric are meant for each other. Red agrees that they're perfectly matched. Donna's as big a dumbass as Eric. Hyde tells Jackie she can't keep the angora sweater, because Kelso gave it to her. He orders her to take it off. Bob comes looking for Red. He's heard that Red called Donna a dumbass. Bob tells Kitty that, if anything, Donna's gonna pretty up the Forman family. Eric decides he has no alternative but to go to Pricemart and confront Red. He only hopes he'll live to tell Donna about it. Fez tells Kelso that working with someone he's had sex with is unbelievably awkward. Hyde tells Jackie that Kelso only buys her presents when he wants something from her. She asks Kelso why he bought her the sweater, and he admits that he stole it. She takes off the sweater and throws it at him. Nina agrees that their first night together was awful, but she tells Fez that all they need is a little practice. Fez doesn't disagree. Red flatly forbids Eric to marry Donna, but Eric says he'll be graduating soon and he has a job, so he'll pay for his own wedding. In that case, says Red, Eric's fired. Hyde gives Jackie his favorite Led Zeppelin t-shirt for her birthday. She's thrilled and is even happier when he tells her she doesn't have to wear it.
