Episode #515 "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You (Valentine's Day)"

SYNOPSIS:

Hyde's humiliated by Jackie's outburst when she sees Kelso making out with Annette. He says he knew hooking up with Jackie was a mistake but he did it anyway. She makes you stupid! Kelso's gloating, and Hyde threatens to kick his ass. Annette's upset too. She has a few orders for Kelso before they go to the Valentine dance that night. He's not to speak to Jackie or girls who look like Jackie. Kelso loves being under someone's thumb again. Kelso says his good looks are ruining people's lives. Donna asks Jackie if she's talked to Hyde about her "get off my boyfriend" disaster. Jackie can't believe people are making such a big deal about it. Donna says it's because everyone knows that Jackie still has feelings for Kelso. Kitty's upset and depressed because her mother never has a kind word for her. Bea even makes a point of telling Eric how much she loves him and says nothing to her daughter. Kitty's so miserable that she takes to her bed. Red observes that she hasn't done that since Elvis died. Donna tells Eric they should tell his grandmother about their engagement. She knows that Bea would be happy for them. Eric's not so sure. Jackie tells Kelso that she made a stupid slip that meant absolutely nothing. That's good, says Annette, because Michael's her boyfriend. Eric tells Bea the news, and Bea remarks that it is a small town when she finds out that Donna's the bride-to-be. Hyde tells Jackie that he's over her. He's breaking up. Eric tells the guys that his grandmother doesn't think Donna's good enough for him. Hyde tells Eric he's over Jackie, and he feels like he just had a ninety-five pound mole removed. Annette tells Donna that she's worried that there's unfinished business between Kelso and Jackie. Donna tells Eric that maybe she should spend more time with his grandmother so Bea would like her more. Jackie and Annette have a confrontation and hurl insults at each other. But Annette suggests that what they really should be doing is talking about Michael. Donna tries to get closer to Bea with no success. Kitty finally gets out of bed and encounters Donna who informs her that Kitty's mother is a nutbag. Neither Donna nor Kitty can understand why Bea dislikes them. Maybe, suggests Donna, Bea can't handle strong, healthy women, but she's not giving up. Kitty doesn't know what Donna's worried about. Kitty's the one who has to spend the rest of her life with Bea. Donna reminds her that if she marries Eric, Bea will be in her life too. Jackie tells Hyde about her conversation with Annette. Annette told her that if she wants Michael, she'll have to fight for him, but Jackie only wants to fight for Hyde. Hyde says the only reason Jackie was ever with him was to get back at Kelso. Michael was her first boyfriend, so of course she has feelings for him, says Jackie, but it's Hyde she loves. Hyde won't say it back, but he does ask if they're going to the Valentine dance. Jackie runs to him, and they hug. Eric tells Donna she has to let go of her obsession with having Bea like her. He's the one who'll be with her forever, and he loves her. Kelso goes ballistic when he sees Hyde and Jackie together at the dance. That's it for Annette, and she dumps him.
